ABOUT US
Sliding Tackle was set up by a group of football fanatics who wanted to give something back to the sport that had provided them with so much enjoyment over the last 30 years!

Rather than just talking a good game we decided to do something about it and set up an organisation whose mission was to provide opportunities for everyone to become involved in the beautiful game.
Our particular focus has been to provide opportunities for children from low-income families that have struggled to get involved in football. Whether this is through our Free coaching sessions or through the supply of Free football equipment e.g. boots

But that’s not all we do!
Sliding Tackle’s Festival of Football is an annual event that acts as a fund raiser for our projects and celebrates the positive contributions the sport makes to society. At the heart of the event is a series of tournaments (e.g. junior boys/girls, walking football, PAN disability etc) that promote the inclusive nature of football. These are supported by football themed events e.g. Q and A with professional footballers, competitions for children (penalty shoot outs etc).

We also offer a range of coaching, tours and tournaments to fit all budgets and abilities.
OUR COACHES
Sliding Tackle has a mixture of male and female coaches all of which are FA qualified. They are also First Aid trained and have been DBS checked.
